SERVICES WE PROVIDE
Rehabilitation programs are carried out at the Silver Rehabilitation Center and at the residence of the users, and their implementation ensures better social inclusion of people with disabilities in the community.
The Silver Rehabilitation Center performs the following activities:
Training people with visual impairments for orientation and mobility with the help of a guide dog, using the white cane technique, and electronic devices.
Training people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities to use an assistance dog.
Training leaders or specialists to include a therapy dog in the institution's activities.
Educating and certifying specialized staff for the mobility of people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
Counseling services – professional assistance to the user in assessing their life situation, encouraging change in line with their capabilities and needs, aimed at empowering them to independently solve problems and creating conditions for maintaining and developing personal potentials and a responsible attitude towards themselves, their family, and society.
Early developmental support services – professional encouraging assistance and support for children, as well as professional advisory help for parents, other family members, or foster parents, in cases where developmental delays, risks, or difficulties are identified in early childhood.
Speech therapy services – diagnosis and therapy.
Neurofeedback services.
Breeding, socializing, and training assistance dogs, as well as providing healthcare and nutrition for the dogs involved in the breeding, socializing, and training programs.
